This project allows me to explore freer musical structures, independent from explicit storytelling, while maintaining a strong evocative dimension.

This section extends the spirit of Rano Rano through instrumental pieces originating from various contexts — film scoring, artistic projects, collaborations or more experimental works. While often born within a specific framework, these tracks gradually detach themselves to exist as autonomous musical forms.
Les enfants veulent savoir
This piece marks my first foray into electronic music. It is built around a single sentence written by Gilbert Delor, whose vocal material is cut, obscured and gradually restored, syllable by syllable, until the full message emerges.

A musical adaptation of a poem by Nathalie Laborde Barrié, April in New Jersey adopts a deliberately restrained instrumental form. Rather than illustrating the text, the music aims to extend its emotional resonances.

The Curse
Also originally composed for an episode of La Petite Mort, this theme was later developed into a standalone piece. The addition of lyrics written and sung by my sister Liva shifts the track toward a hybrid form, where the voice becomes one element within the overall sound texture.

Mokusatsu
Originally written for La Petite Mort, Mokusatsu extends its initial material toward a more abstract and rhythmic direction. Detached from the image, the piece focuses on pulse and texture rather than narrative development.

Bel Oiseau
A piece from the upcoming Temps retrouvés project. The composition incorporates a sample of one of the most well-known Malagasy lullabies, used as an emotional and mnemonic anchor within the music.
